What clothing brands do you consider preppy?

I have noticed that many people suffer from a great misconception. They believe that hollister, aeropostale, abercrombie&fitch, juicy, and forever 21 are preppy. I just want to know how many of you think these places are preppy. How many of you have even heard of ll bean, lands end, Brooks brothers, j crew, or vineyard vines?
