Can a tailor do this?

i got a suit a while back. just wanted to know if a tailor could change the size of a suit, cause i lost a bit of weight and got a little taller. can the area around the stomach become tighter, and can he alter the size of the pants without making it look weird? i can literally put a whole fist on my waist
